From its inception in 1723, our house of worship has been a mainstay of the Kingston community for close to 290 years.  Now a multi-ethnic congregation of believers who have joined their lives in praise, Kingston Presbyterian offers a wide range of spiritual enrichment for all ages.  From our Church School Program each Sunday morning, to weekly Sunday worship services offering full child care options, to various adult bible studies and conversational groups, as well as an active youth ministry, Christians of all ages are given a varying array of opportunities for growth, participation and lasting friendships in our church family.  Long recognized for its community outreach, Kingston Presbyterian Church maintains an active involvement in mission support, at both the local and international levels.

Sundays at KPC – Something for Everyone

9:30 A.M. - 10:40 A.M. - Sunday School for All Ages 

  • Children - Children and Youth from Nursery age to College are welcome
  • Nursery - Two child care staff members provide loving care for infants and toddlers aged 6 months to 3 years in the cheerful, carpeted nursery on the main level of the church.
  • Pre-K through Middle School classes are held in classrooms located on the main level of the church.
  • 9th - College age classes are held on the second level of the Parish House, located next to the KPC garage.
  • Adult Class - Meets in the Assembly Room

 

11:00 A.M. Sunday Worship 

All are welcome. Child care and Handicapped access are available. Infants and toddlers from 6 months to 3 years can be cared by two staff members in the Nursery located on the main level. Parents with infants and toddlers may also use the "cry room" located on the balcony level of the Sanctuary.

11:20 A.M. Children's Church

After the Children's Message during worship, children aged 4-8 attend Children's Church in the assembly room for a wide range of activities including outdoor play in the well-equipped play yard when weather permits. Children's church is supervised by volunteers.

Adult Class Schedule

All Classes Begin at 9:30 A.M.

May 5th - Old Testament Bible Study led by Kenneth Ngwa, Ph. D. Assistant Professor of Hebrew Bible, Drew University Theological School. Dr. Ngwa will present a Bible Study entitled Covenants in the Hebrew Bible. He will examine the concept of covenant, its political, social, and religious meaning, and the relevance of covenant theology in the contemporary church.

May 12th - Singing the Life of Christ through the Psalms - We will trace the life of Christ musically from advent through His ascension using various musical talents.

May 19th - Intergenerational Program for the Adult and Children's Sunday School members.

May 26th - No Classes

MAY PROGRAMS

Saturday May 4th, 10:00 A.M. to 12 Noon - KPC Officers Brunch - Elders, Deacons and other officers will gather over brunch to plan for the balance of the year.

Sunday May 5th - Deadline to submit dedications for the booklet of Mothers Day Dedications to honor the women in our lives.

Sunday May 12th - Mothers Day - The Membership and Outreach Commission will publish a booklet of Mother's Day Dedications to the special women in our lives who have shaped us and our faith. The booklet will be distributed with the Bulletin at worship on Sunday morning.

Thursday, May 16th - 12 Noon to 2:00 P.M. - The Women's Bible Study will hold its last session until September. Christy Parker will lead Lesson 9, Brothers and Sisters from the Horizons Study Guide. Bring a lunch and join our fellowship in the Assembly Room.

Saturday, May 18th - 7:30 P.M. - Patriotic Potluck Dinner sponsored by The Deacons - George Luck will be the guest speaker. All are invited to enjoy a delicious pot luck dinner and dessert.
