Kingston Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA). Over its rich almost 300 year history the members of Kingston Presbyterian Church have been blessed with many opportunities that encourage assimilation, fellowship, Christian development and growth, service, and sharing of God’s love. Each step glorifies God.
The members of Kingston Presbyterian are a vibrant community of believers. We praise the Lord in music with an Adult Choir, Children’s Choir, Bell Choir, and a Praise Band. For spiritual growth, there are Bible-based sermons, Sunday School for children and adults, plus Children’s Church during the Worship Service, a youth confirmation program, adult Bible and book studies, the Play & Pray group for mothers, Vacation Bible School, and occasional weekend retreats. Proximity to Princeton Theological Seminary allows the church to provide formative experiences for future pastors and enriches the congregation through student and faculty involvement.
This Christ-centered environment spawns mission opportunities through individuals who grew up in the church, were past members, or who served at Kingston Presbyterian when they were students. Mission and service opportunities are a high priority at this church. We support projects locally and globally in Africa, France, Guatemala, Haiti, India, Pakistan, and France. Work camps and other opportunities provide members with first-hand experiences at mission sites. Kingston Presbyterian Church has also helped to sponsor refugees and helps international students studying in the area. The church has incubated both a Taiwanese-American and a Hispanic church and currently we host both a Korean and a Japanese congregation in our facilities.
