Here at KPC members of every age of age participate in ministries that expand our faith, help us to explore the Bible, begin to understand the ways in which our beliefs affect our lives, and strengthen our understanding of Jesus’ teachings. Visitors are welcome to participate with us at any point on our faith journey, our church programs, or receive pastoral care.

Deacons

The ministry of Deacon as set forth in Scripture is one of compassion, witness, and service, sharing in the redeeming love of Jesus Christ for the poor, the hungry, the sick, the lost, the friendless, or anyone in distress. The Deacons’ mission of compassion has many facets and touches KPC members, residents of the tri-county community, and world-wide.

Adult Ministry Groups

Visitors are welcome to join with members and enjoy KPC’s Adult Ministry Groups: Sunday Adult Classes, the Wednesday Craft  Group, the Thursday Book Group, and the Saturday Caregiver’s Group.

Partnership Ministry Groups

KPC’s partnership with Nassau Presbyterian Church is a blessing that offers members and friends of  New Brunswick Presbytery Churches special spiritual fellowship experiences through the Grace Notes Choir and the Women’s Bible Study.

GriefShare – A Community Ministry

The KPC GriefShare ministry offers help and encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family member or friend. The GriefShare Support Group is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.

Children and Youth

Children and  Youth Programs at KPC include: Sunday School from September to June for children from nursery to college age; Confirmation Classes for 6th and 7th graders; Games, fun field trips, and weekend retreats for Jr. and Sr. High students; and Vacation Bible School in the summer for Pre-K to 5th grade children. Children and Adults join together periodically for Inter-generational service projects.

Music Ministry

KPC’s music ministry has been led since 2013 by Music Director/Organist Jean Volk. Our music ministry provides many opportunities for church members and community visitors to praise the Lord and to lead God’s people in worship. Throughout the ages, Christians have expressed the words and emotions of prayer and adoration through music. Our services are a blend of contemporary songs, classical hymns, special instruments and technology. During the summer we include special music and guest artists. We welcome children, men and women of all ages and abilities to find their place in the music program.
