KPC’s partnership with Nassau Presbyterian Church is a blessing that offers members and friends of New Brunswick Presbytery Churches special spiritual fellowship experiences through the Grace Notes Choir and the Women’s Bible Study.
Grace Notes Choir
The Grace Notes Choir is comprised of mature Presbytery members who enjoy singing but may not be able to participate on a regular basis in their church choirs. The Grace Notes Choir began as a joint venture between KPC and Nassau Presbyterian Church in 2013. There are currently 18 members in the group including soprano, alto, tenor, and bass voices. During Advent and Lent the Grace Notes Choir provides the music for worship at local assisted living centers on selected dates. Led by Nassau Presbyterian Church Music Director Noel Werner, the Grace Notes Choir meets in the KPC assembly room on Tuesdays from 1:00 t0 2:15 PM from September to May. Click Here for the 2019 Fall Schedule. Membership is open to members and friends of churches in New Brunswick Presbytery and new members are welcome. Please call the KPC church office at 609-921-8895 for information.
Women’s Bible Study
The KPC Women’s Bible Study invites women from New Brunswick Presbytery to the 2017-2018 Women’s Horizon Bible Study series entitled Cloud of Witnesses – The Community of Christ in Hebrews. The sessions are held once a month on the second Thursday of each month from noon until 2:00 PM. Rev. Sharyl Dixon leads the lessons. God’s word is not a collection of dead words on a dusty scroll. It is living and active. It lives in us and the faith of our community. It is active when we exhibit it through our own words and acts. The word of God “encourages us to look deeply into ourselves and bring forth the things that make us healthy and strong” in our faith.
All women are invited for lunch and Bible study. Bring a sandwich. Beverage and dessert will be provided. For more information or to request transportation, call the church office at 609-921-8895.
