Advent-What Do You Fear?

KPC Worship on Sunday December 14th at 11am. In-person worship was cancelled due to the snowstorm but a team led by Pastor Sharyl held the online worship service on YouTube here. Pianist/Organist Gonzalo Aguilar & Cantor Peyton Dixon provided worship music. Pastor Sharyl lit the Advent Candles and led responses, prayers, and the message, “Even in Our Fear We are Called Forward” based on Luke 1:26-56 & Jeremiah 1:4-10. Thanks to the volunteers listed below who worked with Pastor Sharyl to provide the online service.

KPC worship on Sunday, November 30th, the first Sunday of Advent, at 11am EST in person and online. Pastor Sharyl led Children’s Time and worship with the Advent theme “What Do You Fear?” and the message, “Insisting on Hope” based on Lamentations 3:55-57 & Luke 1:5-13. Seminarian Ken Rubin served as Liturgist and led Prayers of the People. Pianist/Organist Gonzalo Aguilar, DMA, and Cantor Peyton Dixon provided worship music. The Offertory was a piano/organ duet, “Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence”, Mark Hayes and Marvin Gaspard, with Dr. Aguilar, pianist and Nancy Wright, organist. After worship the congregation enjoyed refreshments. Everyone was invited to the Advent Dinner & Crafts Night at 5:30pm in the Assembly Room.
