Easter Sunday April 5th at 11am DST ~ KPC welcomes everyone to worship & Communion led by Rev. Sharyl Dixon in person and online. Seminarian Ken Rubin served as Liturgist and led Prayers of the People. Pastor Sharyl led Time for Youth and the Homily, “Who Are You Looking For?” based on John 20:1-18. KPC’s musicians joined the celebration of the Resurrection as the KPC Praise Band, “Calling on Him” directed by Nick Robinson, provided the Prelude and the Anthem, “In Christ Alone” Keith Getty & Stuart Townend; Pianist Gonzalo Aguilar, DMA, and Organist Nancy Wright provided a piano/organ duet to accompany the first hymn, “Jesus Christ is Risen Today” as Cantor Peyton Dixon led the congregation; and the KPC Choir presented the Offertory Anthem, “Good Christian Friends, Rejoice and Sing”, Donald Busarow. Pastor Sharyl led the Communion service assisted by Servers Elder Stephen Parker and Deacon Leah Hodge. After worship the congregation enjoyed Easter themed refreshments in the Assembly Room.
