Sermons on Lent

KPC Worship on Sunday March 8th, at 11am DST, the third Sunday of Lent, in person and online. Rev. Sharyl Dixon led Worship and Deacon Amy Raduzycki served as Liturgist and led Time for Youth. Rev. Dixon’s message “The Good Shepherd” was based on John 10:1-10. Seminarian Ken Rubin led Prayers of the People. Worship music was provided by Organist/Pianist Nancy Wright and Cantor Peyton Dixon conducting the KPC Choir Anthem, “My Shepherd Will Supply My Need”, arr. Mack Wilberg. The congregation enjoyed refreshments after worship in the Assembly Room.

KPC worship on Sunday March 16th at 11am EDT on the 2nd Sunday of Lent in person and online. Melissa Hodge served as Liturgist and led the Children’s message. Seminarian Hyun Jin Cho continued the theme, “What Does Love have to Do With It?” based on Psalm 27 and 1 Corinthians 13:4-6. Seminarian Cody Carver led Prayers of the People. “Calling on Him”, the KPC Praise Band provided worship music.

Rip Diringer served as Liturgist. Pianist Gonzalo Aguilar, DMA, provided worship music and Cantor Peyton Dixon led hymns and responses. The KPC Bell Choir, led by Nancy Wright presented the Offertory Anthem, Seek Ye First, arr. Lynne Hollander.

3/24/2024 ~ KPC Worship on Palm Sunday led by Pastor Sharyl Dixon with the message, “Wandering Heart ~ Songs of Loudest Praise” based on John 12:12-19. Worship music was provided by Pianist/Organist, Gonzalo Aguilar, DMA who was joined by Nancy Wight, Organist on a piano/organ duet for the Prelude, “Hosanna, Loud Hosanna”, Gilbert Martin. The Offertory Anthem, “The Palms”, J. Faure was presented by the Adult Choir, Vocal Soloist, Cantor Peyton Dixon with the congregation’s participation. Melissa Hodge served as Liturgist and provided the Children’s Message.

Dr. Gonzalo Aguilar, Pianist provided worship music and accompanied the Offertory Anthem, “I Wonder as I Wander” sung by Cantor Peyton Dixon who led all hymns and responses.
