Sermons on Palm Sunday

KPC worship on Palm Sunday March 29th at 11am DST led by Rev. Sharyl Dixon in person and online. Pianist Gonzalo Aguilar and Organist Nancy Wright began worship with a Piano/Organ duet presentation of the Prelude, “Ride On in Majesty” David Paxton. Elder Scott Hodge served as Liturgist and Deacon Leah Hodge led Time for Youth. Pastor Sharyl’s Palm Sunday message, “What Kind of King? A Shepherd King?” was based on Matthew 21:1-11. Seminarian Ken Rubin led Prayers of the People. Pianist/Organist Gonzalo Aguilar, DMA, and Cantor Peyton Dixon provided worship music and the KPC Choir presented the Offertory, “The Palms”, Jean Baptiste Faure with participation by the congregation at Verse 2. After the Benediction the congregation was invited to enjoy the breakfast potluck in the Assembly Room.

4/13/2025 ~ KPC worship on Palm Sunday April 13th at 11am EDT. The video is available below in Recent Sermons and online at YouTube. Pastor Sharyl Dixon led the Children’s Message and worship with the message, “What Does Love Have to Do With It?” based on 1 Corinthians 13 and Luke 19:28-40. Amy Raduzycki served as Liturgist. Organist Nancy Wright provided worship music and Cantor Peyton Dixon led hymns supported by the KPC Choir. In celebration of Palm Sunday the congregation and the Choir joined together to sing the Palm Sunday Anthem, “The Palms”, J. Faure.
