KPC Worship & Communion on Sunday July 26th at 10am DST led by Rev. Sharyl Dixon in person and online. Melissa Hodge served as Liturgist and led Time for Youth. Pastor Sharyl’s message, “Paul’s Letter to the Church at Ephesus” was based on Ephesians 1:16-18, 2:8-10, 3:16-20, 4:4-6, 29-32, 5:1-2, 33 and 6:1, 5-7, 6:10-11. Seminarian Edu Hughes led Prayers of the People and Organist/Pianist Nancy Wright provided worship music. Pastor Sharyl led the celebration of Communion assisted by Elders Bill Bachman & Elise Cheng as Servers. After worship the congregation enjoyed refreshments in the Assembly Room and about 11:15am the second session of Vacation Bible School (VBS) for children and adults was held.

KPC Worship with Communion on Sunday June 14 at 11am DST in person and online ed by Rev. Sharyl Dixon. Seminary Summer Intern Edu Hughes served as Liturgist. Pastor Sharyl introduced the summer theme with her message, “Letters from Paul” based on Romans 2, Philippians 1:3, Colossians 3:12-17. Worship music was provided by Pianist/Organist Dr. Gonzalo Aguilar, and Cantor Peyton Dixon, who also conducted the Choir’s presentation of “Come to the Table of the Lord”, Sally Albrecht and Jay Althouse. Pastor Sharyl led the Communion Service assisted by servers Elder Brad Clifton and Deacon Robin DeGutis. After worship the congregation enjoyed refreshments in the Assembly Room.

KPC Worship and Communion on Sunday March 1st, at 11am EST, the second Sunday of Lent, in person and online. Guest Preacher, Rev. Dr. Andrew Scales, KPC’s Mission Partner, led Worship and Communion. Deacon Linda Parr served as Liturgist and Seminarian Ken Rubin led Time for Youth & Prayers of the People. Pianist/Organist Gonzalo Aguilar, DMA and Cantor Peyton Dixon provided worship music. Rev. Dr. Scales’ message, “Called to Something New” was based on Psalm 121 & Genesis 12:1-4 and he led the Communion Service, assisted by Deacons Amy and David Raduzycki as Communion Servers. The congregation enjoyed refreshments after worship in the Assembly Room.

KPC Worship on Sunday February 1st at 11am EST as Rev. Rory Chambers returned as Guest Preacher, leading Worship, Time for Youth, and Communion. Rev. Chambers’ message “Peter’s Epiphany” was based on Isaiah 42:1-9 & Acts 10:34-43. Deacon Sydney Luck served as Liturgist. Seminarian Ken Rubin made the announcements and led Prayers of the People. Pianist/Organist Gonzalo Aguilar, DMA, and Cantor Peyton Dixon provide worship music and the Offertory, “In Christ There Is No East or West”, Watts, arr. Thomson. Rev. Chambers led the Communion Service assisted by Elders Debbie Liwosz and Bea Hwong. The congregation enjoyed refreshments after worship in the Assembly Room.

Smythe’s message, “Those Who Wait”, is based on Isaiah 40:21-31. Seminary Intern Audrey Thorne served as Liturgist, Dr. Gonzalo Aguilar, Pianist/Organist provided worship music and accompanied the Adult Choir anthem, “Draw Us in the Spirit’s Tether” arr. by Harold W. The service of remembrance and thanksgiving included welcoming four new members, the Homily, “Witnesses” based on Psalm 100 and Hebrews 12:1-3, and the Sacrament of Communion. Dr. Gonzalo Aguilar provided worship music, and accompanied the Adult Choir Offertory Anthem , “River in Judea” and Cantor, Peyton Dixon led the hymns.
