KPC worship and Communion on Sunday, December 7th at 11am EST on the second Sunday of Advent in person and online. Pastor Sharyl led worship with the Advent theme “What Do You Fear?” and the message, “When We’re Running Out of Hope, God is at Work” based on Isaiah 43: 19-21 & Matthew 11:1-11. Sydney Luck served as Liturgist and Seminarian Ken Rubin led Prayers of the People. Pianist/Organist Gonzalo Aguilar, DMA, and Cantor Peyton Dixon provided worship music. Dr. Aguilar provided piano accompaniment for the Offertory, a vocal solo by Cantor Dixon “The People who Walked in Darkness” (Hymn #86) Dixon. Pastor Sharyl presided over the Communion Table assisted by servers Deacon Robin DeGutis and Elder Najeeb Enock. After worship the congregation enjoyed refreshments in the Assembly Room.
