KPC worship on Sunday, December 28th at 11am EST on the 1st Sunday after the birth of Christ in person and online, in the KPC Assembly Room. This service of Lessons, Carols, and Reflections on the Flight to Egypt by Joseph and Mary with Baby Jesus was focused on the post Advent Theme, What do You Fear? ~ Let Fear Fuel a Fire for Justice. Seminarian Ken Rubin served as Worship Leader, assisted by Amy Raduzycki serving as Liturgist and KPC Readers, Linda Parr, Robin DeGutis, and Charlie Bushnell. Ken and the Readers related the Scripture Lessons, Matthew 2:1-15; Matthew 2:16-23; Matthew 2; & Isaiah 9:2-7. Pianist Gonzalo Aguilar, DMA, provided worship music. The congregation participated in their personal Reflections and Ken Rubin shared Reflections on the theme and the Flight to Egypt. We thank the Music and Worship Commission for planning this worship service as we look forward to the New Year.
