Sunday at KPC – Something for Everyone

Join us at KPC every Sunday as we connect with God in study, in worship, in prayer, in music and in fellowship. Parents, infants, toddlers, school-age kids, teens, young adults, singles, and mature adults – there is something for everyone on Sunday at KPC. Pastor Sharyl Dixon’s worship leadership and vibrant sermons will engage your spirit and keep you thinking all week.

Dress – You’ll see everything from jeans to suits to traditional ethnic attire. Worship at KPC is for everyone!

9:30 A.M. –  10:40 A.M. – Sunday School for All Ages – Coffee, tea, and breakfast treats are available at 9:30 in the Assembly Room while parents drop off children in their classrooms and the adult class members greet each other. Everyone settles with their coffee, etc. when class begins at 9:40.

Children:

  • Nursery  – Two child care staff members provide loving care for infants and toddlers aged 6 months to 3 years in the cheerful, carpeted nursery on the main level of the church.

  • Pre-K through Middle School classes are held in classrooms located on the main level of the church.

  • 9th – College age classes are held on the second level of the Parish House, located next to the church building.

Adult Class:

Meets in the Assembly Room. Guest speakers, videos, slide shows, and special music may be featured with a different subject every week.

Welcome! During this time of worship, it is our hope that you will feel the presence of God with you as the Word is shared through prayer, scripture, the sermon and music.  We are grateful for your presence and invite you to participate in the worship, fellowship and the mission of this church family. During your time with us, may you experience God’s grace.

 Children are Welcome at  Worship

Children’s Message – Children are encouraged to worship with their families, and come up front to hear a message just for them. Parents with infants and toddlers may also use the “cry room” located on the balcony level of the Sanctuary.

Children’s Church – . After the Children’s Message children aged 4-8 attend Children’s Church in the Assembly Room for a wide range of activities including outdoor play in the well-equipped play yard when weather permits. Children’s church is supervised by volunteers.

IF YOU ARE A GUEST with us this morning, our greeters are available to assist you. An electronic lift is available for wheelchair access or for guests who need assistance to navigate stairs.

PRAYER REQUEST CARDS are in the pews. Ushers collect the completed prayer cards during the middle hymn, annotated in the bulletin as (Prayer cards collected).

FELLOWSHIP TIME –Following the worship service, please join us in the downstairs Assembly Room for fellowship and refreshments.
